About Me



My current interest is the materiality of memory, positing forgetting as both a disruptive and creative force. I am particularly drawn to the role of language in shaping and eroding memory. My focus is on multilingualism’s effect on speech, such as the fracturing of syntax, code-switching, and the unintended poetry that emerges from these linguistic disruptions. Animals feature prominently in my practice, symbolizing resistance to formal communication methods and challenging anthropocentric narratives. Through my work, I advocate for these perspectives and develop new ways of understanding.

While my practice is rooted in drawing, I also work with sculpture and animation, emphasizing physical forms of video-making with traditional materials like paper.

Background and Education


I’m an artist based in Berlin. 

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts and Science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.

Although I am German by nationality, I spent much of my childhood in Spain and Switzerland.

Über Mich



Mein aktuelles Interesse gilt der Überschneidung von Erinnerung und Materialität, dem Vergessen als zugleich zerstörende und schöpferische Kraft. Die Rolle der Sprache fasziniert mich im  Bezug auf die Gestaltung und Verfall von Erinnerungen. Mein Fokus liegt auf den Effekten der Multilingualität - etwa die Fragmentierung der Syntax, Code-Switching und der unbeabsichtigten Poesie, die aus diesen sprachlichen Brüchen entsteht. Tiere sind ein zentrales Element meiner Praxis; sie stehen für Widerstand gegen formalisierte Kommunikationsformen und fordern anthropozentrische Sichtweisen heraus. Mit meinen Werken setze ich mich für diese Perspektiven ein und erkunde neue Formen des Verstehens.

Meine künstlerische Praxis basiert auf Zeichnung, umfasst jedoch auch Skulptur und Animation, mit einem Schwerpunkt auf analoge Formen der Videokunst und traditionellen Materialien wie Papier.

Hintergrund und Ausbildung


Ich bin eine deutsche Künstlerin mit Sitz in Berlin.

An der University of New South Wales in Sydney absolvierte ich meinen Bachelor-Abschluss in Bildende Kunst und Biologie.

Einen großen Teil meiner Kindheit verbrachte ich in Spanien und der Schweiz, obwohl ich in Deutschland geboren wurde.
